Illinois has another first

And it’s nothing to be proud of;  once again

IL Review reported on the universal pre-kindergarten plan for all 3- and 4-year-old children which is noted by the Sun Times as another election year proposal by the governor (this time).  The governor has had this on his expansive plate since he’s been in office along with a few more powerful groups that would benefit from this.  Maybe some little ones would also benefit (that being a side issue?), but I don’t think little ones will be universally served with this expensive deal, by any means.)

I’ll admit, a couple of my kids went to private pre-schools.  Twice a week for half a day.  That was over 15 years ago and baby, times, they are a’changin. Below says it all, but I think many of the politicians on both sides need to hear this message:

Governor, our children are not the property of the state.
