Seeking a Principled Government
Posted by Susan under Life at Home , Good Things about HomeschoolingRenae just posted the Carnival of Principled Government .
These posts got my attention in particular as I could relate to them today.
The Philosophy of Liberty post at The Rebirth of Freedom Foundation blog pointed out the very often unpracticed self ownership philosophy. The you tube video at the end is worth a watch.
Consent of the Governed addresses the issue of privacy in Cell Phones As Tracking Devices And How 4th Amendment Rights Are Being Abused. Judy had also posted the A. Napolitano speech on video that is scary to anyone who is concerned about privacy issues in this country.
Louise Manning posted Two visionary men at The Human Imprint. I had the same impressions that she did when our family trooped up to the Lincoln Memorial. You can’t help but think about Martin Luther King’s dream when you look out from the Memorial. It’s a treasure in sight and mind.
Tiffany Washko had a few things to say about the Maryland powermongering in Action Alert: Vaccinate Your Kids or Else! posted at Natural Family Living Blog.
Following that issue, Dana posted on Principled Discovery about NJ and their vaccination issues today. She says:
I am probably more neutral on the whole vaccine debate than your average homeschooler, but there is one thing in this discussion I am not neutral on: who should make the decision.
Yep….parents should make that decision.
The posts are all interesting reads. Check it out!

Heh…I usually pick and choose my reading more particularly with Carnivals and don’t read all the posts. But there were some thoughtful posts in this Carnival and I couldn’t seem to stop.
