I had a restless night last night and watched one of our family's favorite shows that was playing late at night, or maybe it was early this morning. I'd already seen a heads up on the Food Network regarding a Thanksgiving Throwdown with Bobby Flay and Ree Drummond, who is also known as The Pioneer Woman.
In the introduction of The Pioneer Woman's life, Bobby Flay pointed out that she homeschools her four kids. Then he moved on to other tidbits about her life. She was gracious, funny, her kids were adorable, the ranch was beautiful and her food looked like homespun goodness, Okie style. Yum. Bobby Flay is adorable. I LOVE his red eyebrows, plus he has a dry sense of humor and doesn't seem to have an over-cooked ego like some celebrity chefs.
This particular hour of Throw Down a Thanksgiving Feast was charming and fun and half of it was about a homeschooling mom's life.
Psstt…Bobby's Pumpkin Bread Pudding is on The Pioneer Woman's blog. Can't wait to try it.
